RSVP Charlotte is a program of Senior Friendship Centers, Inc. We help people 55 and older find satisfying activities in their retirement years. We place volunteers in over 75 worksites throughout the county.

Our volunteers do everything from protecting turtle eggs to neighborhood watch and emergency preparedness. We are helping children learn to read, and mentoring teens with decision-making. We are visiting with seniors who are isolated in their homes. We want to expand the number of seniors who are engaged in making Charlotte County a better place to live.

RSVP volunteers work at non profit corporations, government agencies and proprietary health care companies. We can match a volunteer’s interest with a need in the community. Volunteers can work on a regular basis, or for one-time events. Snowbirds are welcome to enroll. RSVP Charlotte makes it easy for volunteers to find the right volunteer job.

For information about volunteer opportunities for people between 18 and 55, please visit Programs.

The mission of Senior Friendship Centers RSVP Charlotte is to encourage the spirit of volunteerism and to engage individuals 55 and older in local non-profit organizations where their talents will benefit the community.
